These terms apply when you use plainmedicare.com. They are short because the site is simple: it shows public CMS plan files on plain pages, free to read, with no accounts.
Who runs PlainMedicare?
PlainMedicare is operated by Kiznis Studio, an independent data-engineering studio in Lithuania. The studio is solo-operated. You can reach it at hello@plainmedicare.com.
What are the pages, and what are they not?
The pages restate what Medicare Advantage and Part D plans filed with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), as CMS published it, with each source named. PlainMedicare does not rate, recommend or sell plans, and it is not a government site, a broker or an agent. It is not affiliated with CMS, Medicare or any insurer.
Nothing here is medical, legal, insurance or financial advice. Plan details can change, and a plan's doctors, pharmacies and drug prices are not in these files: confirm a plan with the plan itself, on Medicare Plan Finder or at 1-800-MEDICARE before you enroll.
Can you reuse the data?
The CMS files are works of the U.S. government and free of copyright in the United States. You may quote, copy and reuse the figures and tables on PlainMedicare, including in commercial work, if you name PlainMedicare and link the page you took them from. The site's text and design remain ours; quoting a passage with a link is fine.
May bots read the site?
Search engines and other polite crawlers are welcome; robots.txt says what they may read. Do not get around rate limits or security measures, and do not load the site so hard that it slows down for readers.
How are ads handled?
The site is paid for by advertising served by Journey by Mediavine. Ads are marked as ads, advertisers have no say over the content, and no plan is listed or ranked for money. The privacy page says what the ad tools store and how you can choose.
Who is liable for errors?
We work to show the files accurately and fix errors when they are found, but the site is provided as it is, without warranties, to the fullest extent the law allows. To that extent, Kiznis Studio is not liable for decisions made on the basis of these pages. Nothing in these terms limits a right that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be waived.

Send errors and questions to hello@plainmedicare.com; the corrections page says how reports are handled. If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
